Deoxygenated blood reaches from systemic circulation to right side of the heart. From there it is carried to the lungs for oxygenation. The oxygenated blood is carried from lungs to the left side of the heart. From lungs, pulmonary vein carries oxygenated blood to the left atrium. From there oxygenated blood is circulated to the systemic circulation again.
